About Bobby D

Bobby D is a young stallion prospect we are extremely excited about as part of the future of Hitchcock Quarter Horses.

He is big, strong, and powerful, with heavy bone, a huge hip, and the kind of structure that is getting harder and harder to find. He has that old-school build that reminds us of horses from years past — the kind made to last, stay sound, and go to work.

While sorrel horses are sometimes considered plain, there is nothing ordinary about Bobby D. His presence, size, and natural power make him stand out immediately, and we are proud to own a colt built like this.

He’s just getting started under saddle, and we plan to develop him thoughtfully and correctly as he matures. Our program has always focused on allowing young stallions time to grow both mentally and physically before breeding, and Bobby D will be no different.

Proven Pedigree — Full Sibling Success

Bobby D comes from a cross that is already producing winners.

His full sister Pretty Wild Card has had an outstanding futurity career, earning major wins and money at the Gold Buckle Futurities and continuing to prove herself as a talented rope horse.

Another full sibling, Hail Mary Wild Card, has competed successfully at the highest levels of rodeo competition, including being ridden by Rylie Smith to major titles in women’s professional rodeo events.

When you see multiple full siblings performing at that level, it gives you real confidence in the strength and consistency of the genetics behind them.
