The Kind You Can Trust

One fall day, Ally’s main ranch horse came up lame, and she was absolutely heartbroken.

Mike told her we had plenty of horses to choose from and to go pick out a replacement to ride.

She came back from the pasture leading a young Dynamite.

Mike was a little concerned about how things might go — a young mare and a teenage daughter, both somewhat inexperienced — but the two of them got along perfectly from the start.

They took care of each other.

And it just worked.

The next spring, Mike told Ally to go out to the pasture and catch her young mare, and he would show her how to warm Dynamite up since she hadn’t been ridden since the fall before.

Unbeknownst to us, Ally had gone out on the four-wheeler to catch her — but instead of leading her back, she had climbed on bareback with only a halter and ridden her home.

When Mike saw what she had done, he just laughed and said,
“Well… I guess she’s already warmed up for you.”

That moment said a lot about the kind of mare Dynamite is.

Willing.
Trustworthy.
And naturally good-minded.

Pedigree Highlights

Dynamite carries some of the most recognizable and proven names in the cow horse world — Grays Starlight, Peppy San Badger, Colonel Freckles, Doc O Dynamite, Doc Olena, and Paddys Irish Whiskey.

We’ve put miles on our mares in real country — gathering, working cattle, long days, changing ground — so we know exactly what they’re like when it matters.

They have to meet the same standard as everything else here:
usable, good-minded, and built to last.
