Our Stallion Philosophy

Our stallions live and work together year-round as part of our ranch horse string and are only separated during breeding season. They are used regularly for ranch work alongside the rest of our horses, which we believe helps maintain sound minds, good dispositions, and long-term usability.

We've always believed stallions should stay horses first — useful, rideable, and mentally sound — and that approach has worked well for us.

Offspring

LeRoy's first foals have provided an opportunity to begin evaluating him as a sire, and we have been pleased with the qualities we are seeing.

His offspring have demonstrated athletic ability, trainability, good minds, and attractive overall balance. While still early in his breeding career, the qualities we have observed reinforce many of the traits that made us believe in him as a young horse.

LeRoy has played an important role in our breeding program and has helped shape the direction of Hitchcock Quarter Horses.

His pedigree, athletic ability, disposition, and eye-catching blue roan color made him an easy horse to believe in. The offspring he has produced have shown many of the qualities we hoped he would pass along.

As Hitchcock Quarter Horses continues to refine and narrow the direction of our breeding program, we have made the decision to offer LeRoy for sale. This decision reflects the continued evolution of our breeding program and our pursuit of a very specific breeding direction.

Several mares have been exposed to LeRoy for 2027 foals. Pregnancy status will be updated following fall preg checks.
